Decided to build one of these for Old Warden May meet
Never built one before or even seen one fly
which way do I go IC or Electric ?
Taking shape glued together 5/2/16
Ready for rotors 11/2/16
Rotors added, ready for test flights at Basildon when weather permits 13/2/16. The electric motor is a old WASP 350W 1450Kv turning a APC 9 x6 reverse rotation propeller.
Test flown last week, flew well just needed some tip weight and a small amount of weight in the front, ready to test on the 11 May unfortunately it rained all day so no test flights, straight to old warden on Sunday.
Flew very well sunny all day thanks a lot Brian for all of your hard work.
Brian then asked myself to build a larger Gyro for next years meeting which I agreed to. I looked around on the Internet and found this Kayaba Ka-1 which I decided to build. I built this straight away as I had some spare time in the evening, it only took two weeks very simple.
Plans downloaded and enlarged.
Model ready for first test flights.
Another good one.
