Well it’s about time I added some info in this section, so I’ve been told. I am now 67 years old and have been a keen control line aero modeller all my life, I started out as a apprentice electronics engineer followed by 40 years working for the Govenment, after this I took up teaching maths and science to secondary school pupils from year 7 to 11, I am now retired but still have no spare time.

Going to work 6.15 in the morning age 15 such a long time ago, note very early transistor radio listening to pirate radio, do you remember this ?

 

 

 

In my teen years I also played in a MOD group called the British Gentlemen, this was up in the north of England I hope you like the photo.

With the Dutch some time in the 70s

Went to University to study for a Degree while I was teaching.

 

 

 

My interests and commitments are, walking about 20 miles each week with my wife, DIY on my daughters flat followed by my others daughters house, which is more construction than DIY, then my own house and holidays of course.

I am a prolific model builder, even my B17 only took 3 months to build the secret is to have a plan in your mind what to build and in what order, so you are not wasting time waiting for glue to dry. To give you some idea, when I was making F2C models I would start on a Monday night with the wing and on the second Sunday after this we would be flying the model.
